CPD 06

The KS AUDIO CPD 06 is an all-round talent, made for a wide variety of tasks in the field of sound reinforcement: supportive speaker for theater, sound reproduction in the multimedia sector, background music in bars and restaurants or 100V build-in speaker on walls and ceilings in high quality. 

As a mid-high range system in combination with subwoofers such as the CPD B2, the CPD 06 represents a completed small PA system. 

However, where the CPD 06 presents itself very favourably compared to other products is that it excels remarkably in its STI (Speech transmission index).

A waveguide for the 1.5′′ diaphragm driver with an evenly wide sound projection is integrated in the sound baffle. The 6′′ speaker is protected on the entire front with a grill, which is lined with acoustic foam. 

Tuning of the cabinet is achieved using a port on the rear side, which allows a remarkably powerful reproduction of the bass frequencies. 

The rear-mounted 2-way DSP controller amplifier operates with very high efficiency and requires no cooling fan. The crossover and FIR filter stages are precisely matched to the loudspeakers, and limiters ensure safe operation.

The electronically balanced input is designed as XLR F+M sockets. A digital level control is used for individual adjustment to the location, and a delay setting of up to 40m enable the CPD 06 to be precisely adjusted in the time domain.

The power supply unit adjusts automatically on AC mains from 110 to
240 V. The inrush current is electronically limited. The connection is made via a PowerCon connector.

The cabinet is made of multi-layered birch plywood and has a matt black PU coating. It is well-shaped, robust and insensitive to weather impact.

M6 thread, flush-mounted connectors, plus various accessories such as the ball-joint wall mount, facilitate handling.

High-quality components, best materials and precision workmanship determine the quality of the CPD 06. The complete front is made of low-resonance PU resin and serves to provide an even sound radiation.

A version with 100V audio transformer is also available, for which an in-wall cabinet can be provided. Special designs and surfaces can be manufactured individually upon request.
